Dr Vincent Leow is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists with over 15 years’ experience in a range of clinical settings.
As a General Adult Psychiatrist he has managed a wide range of presentations, with a particular clinical interest in women’s mental health . He has extensive experience with anxiety and depression, stress and low selfesteem, trauma and loss, eating disorders and related obesity.
Presently, Vincent is working as a Perinatal specialist at a major teaching hospital, providing care for women who are planning a pregnancy, and also throughout the pregnancy and the postpartum period. Vincent is interested in early intervention, teaching anxiety management skills and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy to build psychological resilience during the antenatal period so that women enjoy their pregnancy and motherhood.
Vincent has an interest in working with LGBT individuals. His approach to therapy is ‘user-friendly’ and accessible.
Vincent provides assessment and treatment of ADHD in adults. He works in conjunction with the patient’s regular GP and other colleagues to provide a multimodal treatment approach. He is a member of the Australian ADHD Professional Association.
