Murray is a nationally registered Clinical Psychologist and Medicare provider. Holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, he is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Applying his training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities, Murray works with adults and older adults to manage mood, anxiety, stress (particularly work related anxiety & stress), grief, loss and bereavement, adjustment challenge, PTSD and trauma (DVA, Military, Police, Ambulance and Correctional Services), pain and insomnia, tinnitus and phobic responses including, amongst others: fear of flying, emetophobia and fear of heights.
Having worked in the military, and across a broad range of industry sectors including Allied Health, Aviation, Agriculture, Forestry, Development Banking and Rural Development in both Australia and South Africa, Murray is aware of the importance of psychological wellbeing and mental health in the corporate environment, and his experience leaves him well placed to assist both employers and employees in this area.
