Vivian Bachelier

Vivian has been a registered Psychologist since 2012 and has a background in working with trauma survivors, military personnel, the general public (adolescent and adult clients), including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.

She believes in a client-centred therapeutic approach, which acknowledges the client as the expert in their own lives. Vivian utilises a variety of interventions, including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-based therapies, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Narrative therapy. She sees her role as a Psychologist to walk alongside clients on the journey to discovering themselves, and using a variety of interventions that best suit the client to achieve their individual goals!

Vivian works with clients age 16 and upwards, and provides interventions for a range of psychological issues, including: Anxiety, Depression and other mood-related conditions, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Adjustment Disorder, Relationship issues Self-esteem and perfectionism, Trauma, including sexual assault, domestic and family violence, and adult survivors of child abuse, Grief and loss counselling and Performance psychology.
