Booking Process
1. Referral
2. Booking
Within 7–10 business days, we process your referral and send you an SMS with a booking link to select a convenient appointment time.
3. Payment
A deposit is required at booking, with the balance due 7 days before your appointment. Payment links are sent via SMS.
4. Confirmation
After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with appointment details and a video link for your consultation.
5. Forms
You may be asked to complete questionnaires or provide collateral information prior to your appointment. These will be sent to you via email after booking.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that typically begins in childhood and can persist into adulthood. ADHD is characterised by persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity that interfere with functioning or development.

Medicare rebates* vary from $262.10 - $455.60

Duration: 45-60 mins
The full payment of your consultation must be paid 7 days prior to your appointment. For private appointments, the typical out-of-pocket expenses range from $400-$650 for initial appointments and $175-$215 for ongoing reviews. Our admin team will provide you with the exact out-of-pocket cost at the time of booking.
We are able to offer bulk billed one off assessments (291s) to patients in rural areas (MM2- 7). We require a referral specifically requesting a 291 from your GP. Please note this does not apply to ongoing ADHD or report assessments
Medicare rebates
Our team at PSYCH2U will process the rebate if eligible within 2 business days after your consultation. For more information please read our terms and conditions.

During your Appointment
Please allow 1–2 hours for your initial appointment. During this time your psychiatrist will complete a thorough ADHD assessment in line with Australian Clinical Guidelines, review your pre-assessment forms and collateral information, and discuss diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
