Alison Crotty is a registered psychologist who has worked in psychology since 2009. Before training as a psychologist, Alison worked in teaching, occupational health and safety, manufacturing and the welfare sector. Alison has worked across a range of settings, including community health centres, private practice, multidisciplinary pain clinics, Beyond Blue, and general psychology and pain services. She has experience providing care both face-to-face and via telehealth, including video and phone consultations. Alison has a particular interest in supporting people with chronic health conditions, persistent pain and those recovering from traumatic incidents. She joined PSYCH2U in 2021.

  • Persistent pain and chronic illness
  • Compensable injury matters, Workcover and TAC
  • PTSD and complex PTSD
  • EMDR
  • ADHD support
  • Depression, anxiety and panic

Alison Crotty sees patients aged 16 years and over, including:

  • Patients with Workcover, TAC and other compensable injury matters
  • Rural, regional and city-based patients
  • PTSD, complex PTSD, persistent pain, chronic illness, ADHD support needs, depression, anxiety, panic and life transitions

Alison Crotty does not see:

  • Patients under 18
  • Couples
  • Patients where borderline personality disorder is the primary presentation
