Shelley is a registered psychologist with a wealth of clinical experience and has specialised in trauma and PTSD counselling and treatment, after working at the Trauma Centre of Australia for several years. She promotes a friendly, empathetic, and non-judgmental style of support to help clients identify their
strengths and develop essential coping skills and step-by-step strategies towards their personalised goals and increase resilience to life’s challenges
with confident and achieve a meaningful, happier, and healthier live.

Shelley’s aim is to provide ongoing support and treatment to adults who struggle with trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), ADHD, depression, anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, adjustment disorder, grief and bereavement, life transition, career counselling, work-related stress, anger management, and chronic pain management.

To achieve the best therapeutic outcomes, Shelley employs a range of evidence-based social skills, emotional regulation program, and interventions; Post traumatic growth approach, Trauma-Informed Care, Trauma Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational interviewing skills, Interpersonal Therapy, Logo-therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Solution Focus Therapy. With this diverse range of techniques, she can tailor her approach to the specific needs and goals of each of her clients.

In Shelley’s spare time she enjoy playing music, practicing mindfulness meditations and Qigong, and visiting Art galleries and national parks.
