Dr Laura Mason

Dr Mason trained originally in the UK and during her career has worked as a psychiatrist within the UK, Australia and Canada.

She specialises in Forensic Psychiatry, Emergency Room (ER) Psychiatry and Acute Adult Psychiatry with focus on risk assessment and management and treatment of complex major mental illnesses. Her expertise lies in the treatment and management of psychotic illnesses and major mood disorders. She currently works across several settings including the ER, Acute Inpatient Units and Forensic Psychiatric Services as well as providing telepsychiatry to remote areas across Australia.

Dr Michael Peck

RANZCP, FRACGP, MFM (Clinical), DRACOG

Michael graduated from Melbourne University. After a career in General Practice in Victoria and NSW, he transitioned to Psychiatry and achieved a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2009.

Following this Michael worked in Community and Inpatient settings in both Public and Private positions in NSW, as well as in a role as Lecturer in Psychiatry with UNSW. He then moved to Queensland where he worked in an Acute Inpatient setting.

Michael has now returned to practice in Melbourne, where he practices in General Adult Psychiatry with a particular interest in mood, anxiety (including PTSD) and psychotic disorders.

Michael is happy to provide initial assessments and management plans as well as ongoing management and therapeutic reviews.

Dr Chidambaram Prakash

Dr Chidambaram Prakash is a Senior Consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist with 19 years’ experience. He has worked and managed general and specialist clinics within child psychiatry, has acute inpatient, consultation-liaison, and Neurodevelopmental disorders experience.

He brings to his work considerable and evidence-based knowledge in psychopharmacology and psychological therapies.

Dr Prakash can see Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Mood Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Dr Andrew Wilson

Dr Wilson was until recently consultant psychiatrist at St Vincent’s Hospital,
Darlinghurst, Sydney, NSW, and is Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychiatry
at UNSW. He has previously held positions at Prince of Wales and St George
Hospitals in Sydney, as well working for many years in private practice in
Sydney.

He is a member of the RANZCP Faculty of Adult Psychiatry and has special
interests in mood and anxiety disorders, chronic fatigue and chronic pain as
well as ADHD. He has previously founded a telemedicine company and has a
particular interest in regional and remote telepsychiatry.

Dr Gordon Hyde

NSW

Dr Gordon Hyde is a General Adult Psychiatrist and a fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Dr Hyde works as a Staff Specialist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital at Camperdown and provides inpatient and outpatient services.

Dr Hyde has expertise in the management of mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. He has a specialist interest in post-traumatic stress disorder and holds a Master of Psychiatry from the New South Wales Institute of Psychiatry. Dr Hyde is also able to see Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder and Schizophrenia.

Dr Hyde offers comprehensive, holistic, and patient centred care for patients focussing on their bio-psycho-social and cultural context. He is available to provide services across the full spectrum of psychiatric disorders.
